What happened
The employee 's left arm was pinched under the dough ball indexer on sheeter #1. The employee was scraping the dough belt from the basket conveyance to the sheeter infeed. This belt contains a top roller to index the dough ball into the sheeter. The employee did not shut off the machine to scrap the belt. This action resulted in their arm being pulled into the space between the indexing roller and the mattop belting. Engineering supervisor and operations director arrived on scene unbolted the index brush housing motor and freed the employee 's arm.
