What happened
Two employees were conducting a routine training session with orangutans [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]. Employee was training with [REDACTED] and cued him for the 'hand ' presentation behavior. He was able to reach through the mesh and grabbed her left hand. He was able to gain access to her thumb biting it and removing the tip. Other present employee reacted to the incident trying to get [REDACTED] to let go.
