Before the incident
While working on reassembling [REDACTED] belt on east end workbench with fan on behind the employee. After approximately 10 minutes the employee felt something in left upper eyelid. The Employee proceeded to attempt to close eye and wiped gently with a paper towel. Employee came into office and notified Engineering Lead man in charge at the time. employee went to eyewash station to attempt to remove debris. The Employee asked another Engineer technician if he could see anything in his eye engineer stated it looked like employee had a few scratches. The employee then informed Engineering Lead he was going to seek medical care and left the facility.
