Before the incident
I was attempting to perform a spinal for a patient then the patient almost fainted and we decided to abort the procedure.
What happened
While cleaning up I thought I had cleared all of the sharps however the spinal introducer needle must have rolled under the tray. When I went to put the non-sharp parts of the kit in the trash it poked through the kit wrapping and my glove to hand.
