Worker was in the process of moving an assembled debris tank from the assembly area to the chassis using a hoist.

Worker was in the process of moving an assembled debris tank from the assembly area to the chassis using a hoist. The worker was attempting to guide the tank by placing hands on the tank and the hand was located on or near the door locks of the tank. While moving the debris tank the tank struck something on the chassis or subframe causing the tank to swing. This caused the door to swing into the lock position and impacted the workers fingers causing a severe injury to the fingers.

Right pinky and ring finger tips and pads severed. Diagnosis was finger amputation along with traumatic as being initial encounter.
