A worker in the blast booth area of power coat was in the process of blasting a large piece of plate steel.

A worker in blast booth was in the process of blasting a large piece of plate steel laying on pallets on a rolling cart. Another 220 pound metal plate recently blasted was also leaning against the cart. Worker attempted to adjust position of one of the pallets on the cart by hitting the pallet with a hammer and a 4 by 4 block of wood.The finished plate leaning against the cart fell due to the vibration from hammer impacting and struck the workers foot resulting in a contusion and restrictions. Large piece of plate of plate steel was four feet tall and it slid two feet and then turned and went towards the ground making contact with the workers foot.
