The associate was installing a bumper in final assembly. The bumper was sitting on the ground when he tried to stand the bumper up on an edge so that he could wrap a lifting strap around it. The bumper slipped and his left index finger was caught underneath it. The bumper was wet from being outside in the rain which may have contributed to the slip.
