Employee was conducting 2 men lift on panel system installation on offsite installation When lifting 34X88 panel aprox114lbs with other employee he felt sharp pain in lower abdomen groin area Initially injury was reported and Medcore was called on 52925 Nurse recommended ice and selfcare over weekend with follow up if things worsened Employee continued to perform normal duties until he went for annual physical on 61125 in which personal doctor discovered possible hernia may existing On 61725 employee came to me to let me know that it may be contributing factor to abdominal pain he was having Medcore was called again recommended he see Physician at our clinic Concentra Concentra diagnosis is strain of abdominal wall Lateral hernia with Modified duty MM 46 weeks
