What happened

On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] a Wayfair Associate working in [REDACTED] Mile reported an injury due to a box falling on their foot. The associate states that while working inside a trailer at [REDACTED] and while they were team lifting a box with a coworker they were lowering a wide almost flat-looking box that they believed contained a patio window into the EPJ when they let go first causing the box to drop onto their left foot resulting in pain to their big toe; with a pain scale of 7 out of 10. During the investigation the site found that the injury occurred when the associate and their coworker were attempting to place the box into the EPJ. As they were slowly leaning the box down the associate released their grip before their coworker was ready causing the box to fall and strike the associate 's left foot.
