On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] a Wayfair associate with a hire date of [REDACTED] working on unloading inbound door 271 reported an Injury due to being struck by a falling box making contact with their foot. ;;The associate states that while working on unloading loose freight from dock door 271 in the middle mile department they grabbed a box and lost control of it causing it to fall after attempting to transfer it onto their dolly. The associate stated that they experienced a pain scale of 7 out of 10. ;;During the investigation the site found that the injury occurred while the associate was working on unloading dock door 271 and while they were attempting to load a box onto their dolly they lost their grip and dropped their end which allowed the box to make contact and to strike the associate’s foot before coming to rest in the office after advising their supervisor.
