What happened
On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] supervisor [REDACTED] received a call that Outfitter [REDACTED] has splashed his eye with a substance. They took him to an eye wash station and rinsed the eye for about 15 minutes. The outfitter then returned to his work station. Later in the day he approached his supervisor and said that his eye felt irritated. The CorVel triage nurse was contacted. The outfitter was referred to a doctor for further evaluation. When picking a bottle of liquid fell and when it hit the floor the cap blew off and splashed some liquid in the outfitter 's eye. The cleaner container hydrogen peroxide and the SDS indicated rinsing the eye with water.
