What happened

On [REDACTED]] at approximately [REDACTED] Outfitter [REDACTED] working as DC Outfitter was involved in an incident that occurred at the pick mod. The incident took place while the outfitter was picking. According to initial reports the incident involved a laceration to the right thumb from a cardboard box. As a result of the incident the outfitter sustained a small laceration to the right thumb (approx. 3 4 in length with minor bleeding). Response at approximately [REDACTED] included first aid with the application of an antibiotic and two Band-Aids. The incident was reported to Supervisor [REDACTED] at the time the injury occurred. Cold packs were applied to the thumb. The Outfitter returned to their workstation. After returning to their workstation the outfitter requested to call the CorVel triage nurse. The Outfitter was referred to the University of Utah Stansbury Clinic for further evaluation.
