What happened

On [REDACTED] at approximately 0155 hours I was notified of an outfitter injury which occurred in receiving. I arrived and met with Supervisor [REDACTED] and Lead Outfitter [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] reported that at approximately [REDACTED]. She was attempting to rotate a BCP so that she could align it with the forks of her long tail better. [REDACTED] stated that during this process the side door of the BCP which she was holding on to came open. This caused her to fall backwards and land on her left hand and thumb. [REDACTED] reported that she was experiencing a mild to moderate sharp pain in her left wrist and thumb when she bent it or applied pressure. [REDACTED] was taken to the first aid room where an ice pack was applied and CorVel was notified. The CorVel nurse directed [REDACTED] to selfcare in the form of icing the wound and utilizing over the counter anti-inflammatories. [REDACTED] is expecting a follow up call with the nurse [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] then clocked out and went home
