What happened
While loading out equipment from the pipe yard to a deck barge [REDACTED] was working on the pipe barge. A set of pipe racks were set on the barge deck and one of the racks shifted causing the pipe stop extension to strike [REDACTED] in the top of his hard hat. [REDACTED] then fell backwards onto the deck of the barge striking the back of his head on the deck. He lost consciousness for 25 to 30 seconds; EMS was notified and he was sent to a medical facility for evaluation.
