The employee was working alone on [REDACTED] picking up a masking roll from the bottom rack and lifting it onto a cart. The masking roll weighed approximately 60–80 lbs.

While lifting the masking roll from the lower rack and placing it onto the cart the employee felt a sudden sharp pain described as “lightning going down my leg.” The pain occurred immediately during the lifting motion. He notified his supervisor and foreman and was advised to monitor how he felt the next day.
