Before the incident
walking up the hill to offer a treat to the lemur that was reluctant to come inside.
What happened
I was attempting to coax a ring tailed lemur inside by walking up the hill side to him to offer a treat at ground level and when I turned around to take the 2 steps back down I slipped in the wet grass and my left knee gave way causing me to fall on my backside. My radio was on my belt. The guests saw me and asked if I was OK. I immediately got up and went back to call my manager.
