he affected worker was lifting a 50-pound beam with another worker when a beam fell off the pallet from a 3-foot stack and struck the worker?s left big toe. The worker did not report the injury or see the medic until the following day. Upon evaluation from the medic [REDACTED] the workers left big toe was significantly bruised no deformity or broken skin. The worker was able to move the toe with little to no pain and had full range of motion. Worker received OTC medication tape around the toe after care and cold therapy from the medic. Worker will go to the medic after stretch and flex [REDACTED]. Worker went home for the day on [REDACTED] [REDACTED] 25 EE decided to go to Urgent Aid at [REDACTED] to receive an X-Ray of his toe where EE was given Naproxen and was found to have a closed nondisplaced fracture of distal phalax of left great toe initial encounter.
