Before the incident
Replacing blade in reciprocating saw for line to be cut
What happened
On the above time and date a Turner crew was tasked with demoing a line out of the rack in the caustic unit and replacing it with a new one. After the first two cuts were made the blade on the reciprocating saw needed to be changed out so the employee on the ladder passed it down to the effected employee who changed it out and gave it back. The effected employee handed the reciprocating saw back to the employee on the ladder with the handle facing up as the transition of the tool was being made the tool slipped out of their hands and contacted the effected employee on his right forearm causing a laceration. The employee was taken to onsite medical and then taken offsite for treatment.
