What happened
@ approximately [REDACTED] a Maintenance Mechanic was preparing to service an Articulated Dump Truck’s antifreeze system. When he opened the hatch dust and dirt had fallen from the hatch and became airborne. Windy conditions blew the dust around his prescription safety glasses with side shields attached around into his left eye. Despite eye wash attempts using eye wash bottles the EE was unable to remove the foreign material.
