Moving Bentplate from the material storage area to install it.

Employee was performing activities for the installation of bent plate that metal decking attaches to on the second floor of [REDACTED]-301 with his partner. The two were shaking out bent plate that was to be installed on the perimeter of the building. The bent plate diameters are 10’ in length 10”X5” and 1 2 “ thick. The two employees were moving the material roughly 10-12 feet into place for installation. While his partner was pulling the bent plate with “cowboy clamps” and a rope tied in a knot to the clamps across the deck the employee was pushing the bent plate on the other end. While doing this the front end of the bent plate became lodged between a low and high flute of the installed deck. The employee attempted to get it un-lodged by pushing his side of the bent plate to his right slightly when the bent plate rolled over on it’s side(toe down) landing on the tip of the employees left ring finger between and the deck and toe of the bent plate.
