What happened

Receive athlete was working at [REDACTED] facing the gravity drop to their station. A line loader who had been labor shared from Outbound had pulled a pallet stacked approximately 4 ft high behind the Receive Athlete. The line loader removed all of the shrink wrap from the pallet and went to assist the Line 2 line loader. The pallet had a box give way causing approximately 5 to 6 boxes to fall. It is estimated that the boxes weighed about 35 lbs. The boxes fell toward the Receive athlete with at least one contacting them in the lower back or tailbone area. The boxes falling from behind caused the athlete to get stuck against their station and contacting their station caused bruising to the upper thigh area. Athlete was initially treated with ibuprofen and ice pack but later sought medical treatment.
