What happened
A PODS packing Athlete was placing a carton on conveyor and the carton tipped over. When the athlete went reaching to correct the carton they reached to go under the corner of the box closest to the belt and their right ring finger got caught in the belt and pulled toward the roller. This was at the edge of the conveyor and the pressure of the belt and roller pulling on the finger caused pain and swelling at the knuckle. The athlete went to Occ Health to be seen.
