Before the incident
Employee was working the [REDACTED] on a welding project. He and another employee were swapping out doing the welding and while the other was welding the other was in the area. The employee left for the day and went home then [REDACTED] his eyes were burning and states everything was blurry and couldnt see two feet in front of him. At this point his girlfriend took him to the ER and was diagnosed with Flash Burn to the eyes. There was no immediate pain or injury to the employees eyes at any time while at work.
