Before the incident
The employee was walking from the [REDACTED] 3 area to the restroom just before [REDACTED] 4. When she turned the corner she was speaking to another employee and had her head turned towards the employee on the left while continuing to walk forward and collided with the shipper moving a stack of buns. She hit her right thumb on the stack and there is a small avulsion (fracture) along the base of the distal phalanx (top of her thumb) along the redial aspect. The incident was communicated to the Supervisor however the employee stated to the supervisor that she did not want to complete a report.
