As the associate was attempting to remove two chairs from the storage location his hands slipped off the articles and his left ring finger came in contact with the bottom racking cross beam. The associate informed management that he had previously broken the same finger a [REDACTED] while playing basketball outside of work. Associate was not wearing any protection on the injured finger or inform management of injury outside of work.

During the initial investigation the associate informed management that he had previously broken the same finger a few weeks ago while playing basketball outside of work. Associate was not wearing any protection on the injured finger or inform management of injury outside of work.
