Before the incident
On the above date and time an employee stated they were working in USPS EPS Line on multiple orders which involved grabbing multiple 30 lbs boxes as needed Employee stated they grabbed their second 30 lbs box of the day when they felt pain in their right wrist Employee believed that the pain would subside and as the day progressed it became worse It was at this point that the employee notified management who in turn notified the site safety lead Employee was spoken to and referred to our site trainer trainer conducted a physical examination of the employees injury via TEAMS It was determined that the employee had a sprained wrist and they were to apply a cold compress 3 times and day followed by applying a warm compress [REDACTED] times a day as well as take ALEVE for joint inflammation These instructions were to be followed over the next [REDACTED] weeks with no deviation In doing so the company decided to take the extra steps and assign the employee within their job responsibilities
