What happened
At 25R the operator used the shear at the exit end of the machine to cut a piece of scrap off the coil. Once the piece was shear the operator lowered the table so the utility person could pull the scrap out but when the table lowered the scrap started sliding towards the pit. The operator hit the button to raise the table backup to stop the scrap from going into the pit at the same time the utility person reached in and grabbed the scrap so it would not go into the pit. As the utility grabbed the scrap the table came up and hit the back of their hand.
