The worker was working in the fabrication plasma table area and was getting ready to lift the chassis plate.

The worker was using the magnet to lift the chassis plate to spin it from the plasma table and take it off to stack the plate with other parts. As the worker was completing this task the chassis plate fell off of the plasma table. The worker started to back up and fell and the chassis plate fell on top of the left leg of the employee and hit the left ankle. The employee fell 3 feet down on the concrete floor.

The chassis part fell on top of the left leg and hit the left ankle. The worker was taken to Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital. Foot trauma. Avulsion fracture of ankle left closed initial encounter.

Chassis plate

The worker was lifting chassis part off of plasma table to stack it on other parts. While lifting it the part was to close to the edge of the plasma table and the part fell off. The employee stumbled and fell and part landed on left ankle of worker.
