Before the incident
On [REDACTED] at approximately 1202 hours I Safety and security officer [REDACTED] was radioed by department manager [REDACTED] to respond to room 439 with the 1st aid kit. The employee safety alert device was activated by the employee in room 439. Upon arriving on scene I was directed to assist Marriott housekeeping employee [REDACTED] by manager [REDACTED]. Housekeeping manager [REDACTED] arrived on scene to further assist the employee. It was discovered that employee [REDACTED] had sustained a laceration on her left-hand index finger from using the cleaning pump. First aid was immediately administered. Finger was cleaned and bandaged. Employee was asked if they wished to seek medical attention [REDACTED] responded yes. Incident was documented and [REDACTED] was transported to Concentra Urgent Care for further medical assistance.
