Before the incident

What happened
On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] the Safety Manager received a call from the EE stating she was having problems breathing and in pain from a hand-truck (dolly) falling back on her while transporting beer into an account. The EE states when she attempted to lift a loaded hand-truck ([REDACTED]) up a curb it resulted in her falling backward with the dolly landing on her chest and knee. She reported difficulty breathing and expressed concern about a potential fracture to her chest plate as well as a sprained knee. EE was near a hospital and sought medical attention immediately. After evaluation the physician diagnosed her with a sprained knee and bruising to the chest rib area. The doctor prescribed pain medicine knee brace and restrictions of no lifting until follow up appointment due to swelling in right chest knee. EE is expected to return to work on [REDACTED] with restrictions of no lifting.
