Before the incident
A machinist was lifting a Standard Pump bearing housing from a tub cart and loading it into a machining fixture. While the employee was partially through the job he felt a sharp pain on the anterior side of his right elbow while lifting a housing out of the tub cart.
What happened
The weight of the housing is 46 lbs. The employee chose first-aid treatment for the injury and did not want to see a doctor.
