Tripping pipe out of hole
What happened
While tripping pipe out of the hole [REDACTED] smashed the tip of his pinkie finger on his left hand between pipe and drill collar causing laceration and bleeding. Upon investigation there is a belly in the Kelly hose that sticks out in the way of the pipe when racking it back. Floorhands had to push the pipe around the hose in the direction of anything racked back on the driller 's side pinching employee 's finger against a drill collar. [REDACTED] is being sent in for further evaluation. .
