Nevada Revised Statute 618.375(1): The employer failed to furnish employment and a place of employment that was free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to the employees: a.The employer failed to ensure an employee in the self propelled snorklelift #7486 was provided with and used fall protection. The employee was observed in the snorklelift as it descended from a height of approximately thirty feet high to the compacted gravel surface by building #7. Reference: ANSI 92.5 - 1992 Boom supported elevating work platforms. - section 8.8(g) One feasible means of abatement is to make sure all personnel are instructed to wear personal fall protection equipment when required for fall protection.
