29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. On or about December 20, 2019 employees performing framing operations on the upper level at a residential multi-family property were exposed to a fall of at or above 25 feet when the employer failed to ensure that fall protection was utilized. RGC Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1407852, citation number 1, item 1 and was affirmed as final order on October 28, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 28w672 Mount St., Warrenville, IL 60555. RGC Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1412045, citation number 1, item 1 and was affirmed as final order on August 23, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 7 Stafford Place at 28W703 Mount St., Warrenville, IL 60555.
