Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck by the load should the below-the-hook lifting devices fail: a)Department 44, Clam Shell Lifting Device, on or about 7/11/03: Below-the- hook lifting devices used for lifting pugs had no rated load capacity markings. b)Department 44, Single Spindle Lathe, 34 inch spreader beam, on or about 7/11/03: Below-the-hook lifting devices used for lifting pugs had no rated load capacity markings. c)Kiln 11, Zimmerman Hoist, on or about 7/11/03: Below-the-hook lifting device had no rated load capacity markings. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct these hazards is to: Mark the rated load of the lifting device on the main structure or equivalent in accordance with ASME B30.20-1993, Section 20-1.2.1.93,
