Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employmnent and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards
that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that
employees were exposed to eye injury from corrosive chemicals:
a)On or about December 6, 2005, and at times prior, employees were not
protected
from injury, where the employer did not have a suitable eye wash station
in the boiler
room for employees exposed to a corrosive chemical (BL-1544, Steam Line
Treatment).
b)On or about December 6, 2005, and at times prior, employees were not
protected
from injury, where the employer did not have a suitable eye wash station
in the
chiller room for employees exposed to a corrosive chemical (CL-4856, Clean
Water
Treatment).
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is to install
plumbed eye wash stations in the boiler room and in the chiller room.

Abatement-Certification Letter").
