(a)Silanes Department - Exployees were exposed to hazards that existed when
Stokes vacuum pumps were modified by replacing the oil fill plug with a
hard-
piped oil fill line and the manufacturer-installed sight glass with a more
durable glass, thus defeating the overall capability of the pump to relieve
internal pressure in a safe manner in the event of an overpressurization.
