Specific Abatement Documentation Is Required Two feasible and acceptable abatement methods to correct this hazard could include: 1. The employer could establish an Industrial Incipient Stage Fire Brigade in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 600 to define the limits of action and responsibility for responders and ensure that responders receive training commensurate with the level for the response duties they perform. 2. The employer could establish an adequate preventative maintenance program on all the Extruder related equipment to decrease the probability of fires from occurring in the area.
