Workers sharing a single yellow cup by the water jar (cooler) were exposed to health risks and other communicable disease.

29 CFR 1926.95(a): Protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields and barriers, were not provided: a) American Groceries, Bldg 148 on East Marine Drive Construction Project: On or about 05 DEC 11, workers were using cotton gloves instead of rubber gloves which was not adequate for handing, applying and mixing wet Portland cement. The manufacturer for Portland cement according to the MSDS recommend the use of nitrile rubber gloves.
