29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: 1) On July 6, 2012, Westchase Construction, Ltd. did not ensure that its subcontractor, AJM Framers, Inc. protected their employees from falls: a) Employees working on the third level were not protected from falls in excess of 30' where there were openings in several locations in the guardrail system that was installed at the exterior walls. b) Employees working on the third level were not protected from falls where there was no fall protection provided at the edge of the floor decking.
