The slopes and configurations of sloping and benching systems were not in accordance with the requirement options of 29 CFR 1926.652(b)(1), (b)(2), (b)(3), or (b)(4). a) On or about August 21, 2012; at the center of the jobsite, employees were allowed to perform work while standing in a 20 ft. deep excavation that was not sloped in accordance with the requirements for type C soil.
