29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms or service rooms were not kept clean and orderly or in a sanitary condition.    Aurora Resort & Spa, chemical store room: On August 20, 2012, and at times prior thereto, the floor was not maintained in an orderly manner in that portable wash basin, brooms, mobs and cords were lying on the floor exposing employees to a tripping hazard.

29 CFR 1910.303(f)(2): Services, feeders, and branch circuits. Each service, feeder, and branch circuit, at its disconnecting means or overcurrent device, shall be legibly marked to indicate its purpose, unless located and arranged so the purpose is evident.    Aurora Resort & Spa, hallway by the receiving area: On August 20, 2012, and at times prior thereto, employer did not legibly marked the disconnecting means (switches) of the eletrical control panel to indicate its purpose and function of each control switch.     Note: On 9/9/2012, the employer sent the pictures showing the list posted on the control panel, therefore correcting this violation.

29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed:      Aurora Resort & Spa, hallway by receiving area: On August 20, 2012, and at times prior thereto, employer did not close the unused openings of the circuit panel exposed employees to live parts. This violation was abated on the same day after the inspection.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1):  Employers did not have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use    Aurora Resort & Spa: On August 20, 2012, and at times prior thereto, material safety data sheets were not readily available for hazardous materials, but not limited to general cleaning chemicals, Steel Cleaner and Polish used by the housekeeping employees. The MSDS for the Steel Cleaner and Polish was produced during the inspection.
