29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail systems, warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: a) Salgau Roofing Inc., Toledo, Ohio: On or about October 15, 2012, at address 10621 Fremont Pike, Perrysburg, Ohio, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falls while removing old and applying new roofing materials on a commercial type structure. Employees were exposed to potential falls of approximately 20.6 ft. to the ground below and 8.4 feet to the lower level.
