29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):     Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph (b)    a) Jobsite- 202-216 Shawmont, Philadelphia, PA-Employees were installing roof trusses on a residence at approximately 30 feet above ground level without any means of fall protection. Observed on or about 12/17/12.    TDI CONSTRUCTION WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR VIOLATIONS OF THIS SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13)  WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN AN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 315819607, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1a, FINAL ORDER DATED 10/23/12, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE  LOCATED  AT 1424-34 Fairmount Ave. PHILADELPHIA, PA.    Note: Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):     The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.    a) Jobsite-202-216 Shawmont, Philadelphia, PA- The employer did not provide fall protection training to his employees who were installing trusses on a three story residence at approximately  30 feet above ground level. Observed on or about 12/17/12.
