29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) At 7051 Rockyroad Loop Gulf Shores, Alabama: On or about January 22, 2013 and at times prior; the employer failed to ensure employees sheathing a 10:12 roof had proper fall protection exposing them to fall hazards of 9.3 feet to the ground below. THE MEGA CONSTRUCTION, CO. INC., WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 565321, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON OCTOBER 24, 2012, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT LOT 148 CAMBERWELL DRIVE DAPHNE, ALABAMA.
