29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):    (a)  The employer does not require the use of any form of fall protection during roofing work. The violation was most recently at Dorsey Woods Subdivision, Lot 6, 12439 Cressida Loop, Daphne, AL.  From September 28 through September 29, 2013 the controlling employer fail to protect employees from fall hazards by not providing fall protection when installing 44 squares of asphalt roof shingles on a 10 on 12 pitch roof and exposed to a fall hazard distance of approximately 13 feet 5 inches from the eve of the roof to the ground below.     Mega Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 844484015, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 12, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 7051 Rockyroad Gulf Loop Gulf Shores, Alabama.
