29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. (a) On or about 4/30/2013, on the west side of the building, employees were working near the edge of the roof without being protected from falling by using any type of fall protection. The employees were exposed to falls of more than 6 feet to the concrete below. Pearl Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314183385, citation number 2, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 12/13/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 605 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas 75062.
