29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) At Lot 88 East Lake Blvd Auburn, Alabama: On or about April 29, 2013 and at times prior; the employer failed to provide fall protection for his employees involved in roofing activities on a high slope roof exposing them to fall hazards of 22.6 feet to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladders length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) At Lot 88 East Lake Blvd Auburn, Alabama: On or about April 29, 2013 and at times prior; the employer failed to ensure a portable extension ladder used on site by employees was extended at least three feet above the landing area exposing them to fall hazards of 12.8 feet to the ground below. THE SOL CONSTRUCTION, INC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.1053(B)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 892780, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 2 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON MARCH 26, 2013, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 308 BENTLEY COURT AUBURN, ALABAMA 36830.
