29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6:     (a)  On or about June 17, 2013 cylinders of compressed gas, which contained oxygen, propane and acetylene were stored in a row, next to eachother, along an outside wall near the north east side door and less than 20 feet away from a cage that contained full and empty cylinders of propane for the forklifts.       Section 3.5.3 of Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965 states that tanks of compressed fuel gas and oxygen should be segregated by a minimum of 20 feet or by a fire-resistive partition, in accordance with National Fire Protection Association Standard No. 51, "Gas Systems for Welding and Cutting."        In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence, or written records.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:    (a)  The employer did not train employees who worked with machine oils, coolant, lubricants, compressed gases, paint and unlabeled spray bottles of chemicals and glass cleaner on the hazardous chemicals used in the workplace at the time of their initial assignment or when a new hazardous chemical was introduced in the work area.      The Cincinnati Mine Machinery Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 86495, citation number 1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on March 18, 2009, with respect to the workplace located at 2950 Jonrose Avenue, Cincinnati, OH. 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii):  Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical.    (a)  Spray bottles containing glass cleaner and other chemicals were not labeled with the identity of the chemicals or the hazards of the chemicals they contained.
