29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: On or about August 2, 2013, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were engaged in the installation of a new fascia on the edge of a residential roof with a slope of 5:12 at approximately 20 feet above ground level without a means of fall protection, exposing them to a fall hazard. Arcon Industries, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 600578 citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on (9/27/2012), with respect to a workplace located at 3808 North University Dr. Sunrise, FL 33351.
